Proper Care

HOW TO TAKE PROPER CARE OF YOUR SHIRT, TO MAKE IT LAST AS LONG AS POSSIBLE?

LAUNDERING

1
Try to wash your shirt as soon as possible after it has been worn. This prevents accidental stains and dirt from "ingraining" and remaining permanent, which could unnecessarily destroy the fibers of the fabric.

2
Before washing, do not forget to remove the removable stiffeners from the collar so that they do not change their shape during washing or ironing.

3
If the shirt is very dirty in exposed areas (collar, cuffs), it is possible to leave a fine powder on the fabric for a few minutes without rubbing it in the hands.

4
We recommend washing the shirts in a washing bag to minimize abrasion of the shirt on the reinforced parts (collars, cuffs).

5
Wash the shirt at 30 ° C (maximum 40 ° C) as indicated on the label inside the shirt.

6
When washing, use mild detergents. Strong aggressive chemicals can damage the fabric during washing, so it can then look dull and torn. We recommend choosing fine squeezing for the program.

DRYING

Free drying on a hanger is ideal.
For easier ironing, we recommend ironing the shirt while it is still wet.

How to turn a regular shirt into a "non-iron" shirt?
There is only one way: to impregnate it with chemicals. That is why you will find "non-iron" shirts in our small separate collection for those who request them. We pay particular attention to the quality of fabrics that we would not like to damage by this process.

IRONING

Always iron the shirt from the collar - from the tip to the middle, back and front. Then go to the sleeves (again the back and front cuffs first). Finally, iron the back of the shoulders and the back part. Finish ironing on the front of the shirt.

TIP: It is better to iron dark shirts from the back to avoid possible shiny effects.

3 TIPS TO MAXIMAZE DRESS SHIRT LIFE

1
Do not delay washing white shirts for too long. This can lead to premature yellowing of the collar and cuffs, as spots from sweat or oily skin will have more time to settle in the fabric.

2
Always remove the removable bones from the collar before washing and ironing. If you do not do this, they will be deformed by washing or ironing, which will cause the collar to twist.

3
If you wash your shirts in a dry cleaner's, do not rely on them to remove all stains. If you know of less visible stains on your shirt, be sure to notify them in advance.
